BULKLEY VALLEY OTTERS SWIM CLUB

Novice Coach

Lacey Creyke joined the coaching staff last year as the coach for the Novice & Bronze Groups.  Lacey  is working to mentor the young swimmers and develop their skills.  Lacey swam competitively with the club for about 10 years.  You will also see her lifeguarding around the pool and as she is very active in school sports as well - you'll also see her playing basketball.

Assistant Coach

Tom Espersen has been an assistant coach with the Otters for several years and he is returning again this year to teach the Silver group.  Tom swam competitively and also played polo throughout university.   He's reluctant to say exactly how many years he's been a pool rat but it's safe to say he's fully chlorinated by now!

Head Coach

Ali Howard will be our A/Head Coach this season.  Her competitive swimming experience is that of an elite level polo player.  More recently she put her swimming skills to work  to bring attention to the dangers facing the Skeena River watershed - also known as the Sacred Headwaters.  Ali navigated 380 miles of the river in August 2009 and not only brought the river's plight to the attention of the environmental community but also received an Activist Award.
