Fee Refunds
Fee refunds are available to swimmers who leave the club or for those swimmers who must be absent to due extended illness or injury.
Parents must give 30 days written notice to the Registrar or the Club President. Fee refunds will then be calculated from that date.
The reason we require 30 days written notice is based on the following two factors:
(1) The club has a contractual agreement with the head coach for an annual salary drawn over ten months and assistant coaches are assigned based on the club enrollment. Changes to these schedules require notice.
(2) The club has a contractual agreement with the BV Pool that requires us to provide 30 days written notice for any adjustments to our lane schedule. Therefore if we have a decline in fees due to swimmers leaving, the club is committed to these certain costs.
Fundraising
Each swim group has a fundraising commitment. Fundraising helps keep the monthly cost of swim fees reasonable. If you prefer not to participate in fundraising, you may ask that your fundraising cheque be cashed in lieu of this commitment. Before you do however, review the following opportunities - especially the grocery coupons, as they require no selling and no time commitment (except for the time you spend grocery shopping!)
If you fundraise in excess of your committed amount, you receive a reduction of 25% of the excess amount fundraised in next swim seasons swim fees.
Multiple families have a fundraising cap of $750.00 however they are not eligible for the reduction unless they meet & exceed the total amount of fundraising prior to cap.
